Just a random old picture that I scanned in last weekend - thought it deserved an airing. Scanned from a colour print negative and processed (reversed) in Photoshop and tidied up a bit with a 'Kodachrome' filter.

It's a splendid view, all right. When we were there I just couldn't get the whole bend in frame, wide-angle lens not wide enough !
The problem is also that the sun doesn't get down into the bottom of the canyon at this time of year (Christmas).
