Here's some video of the area around Muli monastery. It all looks very green and fertile because it is the middle of the rainy season - August. Usually it is much more bleak and brown than this. The video also shows a bit of the valley around Wachang - the nearby small town where most Muli people live. As you can see, the inhabitants of this so called "Shangri-La" are more interested in mobile phones and motorbikes than in eternal life!
