Here are a few pictures taken by some Swiss aid workers who have helped construct a school in the remote village of Shuiluo, imbetween Muli and Yading. Joseph Rock passed though here on his way to Konkaling, and described how his retinue of Muli servants did not wish to continue into "bandit country" here, which he described as the Iron River canyon. The Swiss group's website has a lot more pictures and tells the story of their very admirable modern day project.
