The sacred trinity of Risumgongba

As seen hanging in the monastery at Muli, this depicts the deities represented by the three Konkaling peaks. In the centre is Shenrezig, whose earthly incarnation is the Dalai Lama. At the lower left is the God of Learning [Jambeyang] while at the lower right is the Holder of the Thunderbolt [Chanadorje].

These gods are supposed by Tibetans to dwell in the three peaks of the Risumgongba range shown earlier.
